Last night

Last night, I was at my friend Amy's house celebrating life. Life? Yes, life. The life of a man named Mike that we all loved and dearly miss now. It was good to get together and see how we have all grown and where we are now 3 years after he went to be with Jesus. A lot has gone down with this special group, but as I was telling my mom today, we are a family. We are a special family that have a few things in common--we were all influence greatly by this man, and we are all passionate about serving Jesus. We were truly blessed to know Mike and I can't wait to join him up with our dear sweet Savior.

And the funny story--Mike's nieces and nephew were there also. They are 8, 6, 4 and 2. Soooo fun! Well the 6 year old was running around and she kept saying that she wished she had her magic meatball. Oh her magic meatball is soooo much fun. She wished she had it. So I asked what her magic meatball did. Why was it so fun? "Well," she said, "you ask it questions and it gives you answers." hahaha tooooo funny!

I'm back!

Ok, so since I last blogged, lots and lots of things have occurred.

1. My best friend Joni is getting married!!! And I get to be a bridesmaid once again! Yeah! The kinda sad part...she's moving to Hawaii. I will miss her tons, but I get to have a great place to visit! I'm way excited to see how God answered so many prayers in her life. It's a great encouragement.

2. I moved! I moved out of my house and into an apartment with my two roomies! I have my own room and it's way exciting. God has been so good and faithful to provide in these times.

3. I went to Seattle to quilt with my two tantes (aunts) and my grandma that I love. We had a wonderful day of shopping at the big quilt expo and then got a whole quilt pieced and sandwiched in one day. It was great!!! So fun! It was a great time of making memories and bonding with my familia.

4. Did I mention that I moved??? Oh my! I can't wait to have people over! It's gonna be so fun!

So that is the major part of what has happened. So some it may seem like little, but to me, it is a lot. Moving out of my parents house for the first time and sleeping in a different room after 21 years in the same room is a huge change. It's been disorienting and confusing at times. But I'm getting used to it and learning to lean on the Lord in so many new and different ways. I'm thankful for the opportunity.

Ok, I'd better go now. I'll be posting more about my grand adventure sooooonnnn!!!!
